Merkatiko SRL places great importance on protecting your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected and purposes

• Email and first name: for the newsletter (with your consent), purchase confirmation and session booking (contract performance).
• Birth data (date, time, place) for the birth chart: it is computed on the fly and never stored. During a purchase, it travels encrypted via Stripe solely to generate your PDF, then is not stored.
• Booking data (first name, email, slot): transmitted to Cal.com to organise the session and the video-call link.
• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe; we store no card details.

Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by our processors, solely for the above purposes: Stripe (payment), Cal.com (booking and calendar), Brevo (email delivery, a European company), Supabase (practitioner-area accounts, EU hosting), Vercel (site hosting). Any transfers outside the EU are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

Retention

Data is kept for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Birth data is never kept.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: rwatrisse@merkatiko.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
